Attractions/Dinning Penny and Doug find nothing more satisfying than sharing their knowledge of the area and its activities with an enthusiastic guest. Getting out enjoying the sights is their specialties. A visitor to Seattle should consider a minimum stay of 3 days and hopefully longer. Penny recommends a trip to the Pike Place Market (one of the best public markets in the United States). Take a trip on a ferry over to the islands, to the Olympic National Forest, or to Victoria B. C. to visit the Butchart Gardens. And do a day up to Mount Rainier to play in the snow, enjoy meadows of wild flowers, and breathtaking sunsets. For those who can stay longer, consider taking the underground tour of Seattle or the Spirit of Washington Dinner train up to the Wineries. Seattle has numerous Micro-brewers to try or take a Floatplane flight to the San Juan Islands to look for a pod of killer whales. Don't forget the famous Seattle Space Needle. Here is a little Space Needle trip tip Do lunch (make reservations, bypass the line, sit to enjoy a good meal while the restaurant rotates every hour, and the price of the trip up is waived).
